Hello Readers,
I am so glad you found me here. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am
- an ISFP-A personality (http://www.16personalities.com)
- a follower of Jesus
- a wife (43 years and counting)
- a mother
- a grandmother ( 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
- a teacher (I’ve been in education for 25+ years.)
- a photography enthusiast
- a crafter
- an avid reader
- a seamtress
You could also say I am a life long learner. I love learning new things and my latest endeavor is this blog. As I am very close to retirement, I decided to start a blog to supplement our income . Yes, I know my exact retirement date. I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life so I can do more reading, crafting, sewing, and photography.
I have begun this journey by reading other blogs. It has simply floored me, the amount of blogs and the diversity of them that are available to read. I have found myself attracted to the blogs that teach frugality, parenting, and overall lifestyle posting. I do enjoy the decorating blogs a lot also.
Some of the blogs I follow are:
- The Frugal Girl
- Sarah Titus
- Happy Frugal Mama
- Frugal Debt Free Life
- Making Sense of Cents
- Sixth Bloom
- Picky Pinchers
- Frugally Blonde
- Natalie Bacon
To name a few.
I have to confess, I like to shop. I like finding good deals and using coupons and coupon apps. As I go on this blogging journey, with you I hope, I let you in on my secrets for finding good deals and saving money.
Since I am a photography enthusiast you’ll see lots of pictures threaded throughout my posts. Since I just am getting started, I don’t have the images to go with everything yet. But, if you’ll hang in there with me, I will.
I am also active on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and Instragram. I am still learning how to maneuver around Twitter and Instragram so they are not quite as busy.
I am glad you stopped by and I hope you drop in again.
I hope you have a pleasant day!
